Which LCD TV i should buy?
Hi, I want to buy a new LCD TV in India. I am interested in Sony/Sam sung or LG. Mostly i will be going for 40 to 46 inch LCD TV with HDTV. i have a budget of 70 to 80 K to spend on LCD. What is the best brand to go for. My research says that people support Sony but i think thats too much hyped.
Also do any cable operators provide HD output to see on these flat panels. If not i think going for 32 to 40 will be a better option because i will get more clear picture with 32inch panel rather then 46inch panel as all these LDC have a native resolutions which will be same. So Normal quality will look good for smaller inch LCD Panel and if its HDTV(cable output) then large screens will definitely look awesome..

Go online to "Home Theater Magazine" and read the reviews on tvs along with the pro and con of Plasma and LCD tvs. You will notice that Panasonic has a tv recommended in each of the price category of entry level to the high end. While Sony, Samsung and Toshiba does not (April issue). Other brands like LG, Sharp, Sanyo and Vizio did not even get mentioned. If you read yahoo questions, you will also notice that 95% of tv problems are from LCD tvs and 95% of those are from off brands. If you really want an LCD then Samsung in the 600 series would be the best. Hope this will help you out.

Obvioulsy cable providers will provide HD output for these TVs. Unless you live in the middle of no where. The only thing you need is an HDPI input (or even component inputs) and every flatscreen these days have those. You will just need to pay about $15 extra per month for the HD cable box and the service. As for the TV, all of those are great companies. It depends on how much your willing to pay. I think Sony might be the most expensive of those, but I think they are all pretty much equal in terms of quality. Also, if you wanna save some money, try looking at Vizio. They have great TVs which tend to be a little cheaper than those other name brands but they quality is still great.
32" is a Fast moving model in India. Samsung has some good models at this size. Samsung has 6 models. You can check all of them at this link
